Reminds me of an incredible case that one of my attorneys won for his clients (husband and wife) who had been charged with murdering their baby and making it disappear. The local police obtained a court ordered wiretap, and wired their bedroom. The police claimed they heard the wife accuse the husband of killing the baby, and my attorney proved to the courts that people hear 'what they want to hear'. Apparently, there's some really great studies out there showing what people 'think' they hear when listening to songs, versus the actual words! The differences are surprisingly vast. The judge was appalled at how garbled the tapes were, completely inaudible, and issued a directed verdict acquitting the defendants mid-trial! Then the attorney prevailed on a "Vexatious Action" lawsuit against the government, proving that law enforcement had no basis for arrest, etc. The only Vexation Action suit that's prevailed to this very day! He won $2,000,000 for his clients! One final note - if it had been a naked woman in the video instead of someone dressed in a bear costume, I might've seen her! Best regards, Ford!
